Capital had no centralised learning management systems. Each division was going there own way, duplicating effort, purchasing system time trying to satisfy their own internal customers. The Compliance Group also wanted to deliver and track compliance elearning. The IT division had implemented a competency framework model and wanted to link this to elearning and instructor led training. The Global Head of Learning and Development wanted to bring all these areas together and provide a single joined up service. The whole proposal turned out to be overly costly and our consultant recommended the project closed. This took place and amongst others, learnLMS contracts terminated. In the final summary learnLMS played a key part in bringing together the planning for an implementation of an LMS for Barclays Capital and certainly paved the way for Barclays Capital to further explore the LMS market. |
learnLMS provided consultancy to the SAP project team and provided the Business Lead role. They were responsible for managing the engagement between the SAP team and the Barclays Capital L&D managers. To drive the project from the L&D side and ensure that the project adhered to the wishes of L&D as the internal client. learnLMS provided the consultancy to review business process change and future proof processes for progressive engagement for other divisions in the bank.
